• Researched available resources, research, and online tools to assess the renewable energy and energy outlook of ERCOT, accounting for passed law and regulations, energy and climate policies being discussed and forecasted such as IRA, ITC, and PTC
• Hypothetical logistical and technical requirements of deep decarbonization in the ERCOT grid.
• Built a replicable model using Python that can be adjusted and fine-tuned to aid in studying different and possibly extreme scenarios
• Presented results to VP and corporate strategy team -
Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA)
• Utilized engineering drawings to pull equipment information and answer questions
• Led a project to construct an external DC battery house to ensure in-stock battery health
• Coordinated critical spare parts replacement and upgrade among construction, design, and maintenance departments in terms of required material and resources
• Assembled queries and analyzed data to evaluate auto transformers health and importance scores -
Mustakbal Clean Tech
• Ensured optimal performance and operation of solar PV plants with a total capacity of over 100 MW via different data acquisition and control platforms
• Automated regular executive performance reports using Python saving 32 work hours monthly
• Utilized data analysis in handling hourly performance indices to recommend utility and commercial scale solar PV cleaning decisions
• Headed the development of a power plant monitoring platform using real-time data from sensors and meters and visually displaying it using SQL and PowerBI software
• Designed commercial and residential solar PV systems using PVSyst and Sketchup
• Supervised a team of 5 technicians in regular fault rectification and on-site maintenance
