Kameel Kishek
Kameel Kishek started his career as an electrical engineer specialized in power systems. After graduation, he was received his Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification shortly after (starting an EMIT). He has worked in distributed energy generation through research, publication, and with actual implementation of residential, commercial, and utility scale projects. Kishek is the Inaugural Masri Graduate Fellowship at the University of Texas - Austin, where he earned his Master’s degree in Energy and Earth Resources. His coursework, research, and internships during the academic program allowed him to work with utilities, private companies, and researchers on various topics in the energy industry, such as EV integration, transmission and power grid reliability, and decarbonization.
Kishek currently holds the role of a senior analyst in transportation electrification. He is always looking to connect and collaborate with individuals and organizations invested in the energy industry, and aims to contribute to driving the energy transition and equity forward.
